 Other News/Events

The Public Works Department will be sweeping borough streets on Monday, May 8th, 2017.  Please have all vehicles off the streets between the hours of 6:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. 
On Wednesday, February 22nd, 2017 Lilly Borough Council appointed Michael Eckenrode as Lilly Borough Mayor to fill the remaining term until year end. 
District Justice; Mr. John Prebish administered the "Oath of Office" on Wednesday. 
The municipal primary will be May 16th, 2017 for the 4 year term as Mayor.  (2018-2020).
The municipal election will be on November 7th, 2017. 
In Ward 2; there will be three expiring terms for council. 
If you would like to become a candidate to serve on Council, please review the Borough Code for the eligibility and duties of Council.



Be advised that there is now a three-way stop at the bridge going over to George Street, no more right turn keep moving. _________________________________________________________________

Please remember that if you are making any repairs, renovations, additions, roofing, sheds, or garages; you must apply for a waiver permit through Laurel Municipal Inspections Agency.  The forms are available from the Borough Secretary, LMIA in Carrolltown, and on the webpage for building permit process.  The Borough must sign the municipal authorization form before a permit will be issued.

 Borough Meetings

In 2017, Lilly Borough Council will be holding their regular monthly meetings  held on the first Wednesday of each month. There will be three (3) meetings.  The first meeting will be the Lilly Water Authority at 6:00 p.m. followed by the Lilly Borough Sewer Authority at 6:15 p.m. and the final meeting will be the regular Borough Council meeting at 6:30 p.m.

The public is encouraged to attend these meetings.
